Code: 681. The drive-over grass grating, in recycled plastic, is made up of modules in high density polyethylene (HDPE) with honeycomb design, environmentally friendly, suitable for the construction of parking lots, driveways, driveways and rest areas.

The green areas of urban centers have a specific purpose that goes in addition to the aesthetic and recreational areas, in fact these areas, unlike those paved with concrete, asphalt or other waterproof systems, allow the natural infiltration of rainwater into the ground, thus mitigating the flooding phenomena that occur more and more often in our cities .

Through the use of the grassy recycled driveway it is possible to obtain a consolidation of the ground, with a lawn that can be immediately used by vehicles and that only needs the normal ok and regular crop care.

The surface covered by grass is approximately 90% and contributes to the drainage of rainwater.

The recycled and recyclable grating allows high compressive strength values depending on the type of underlying soil, the substrate and its thickness.

The flooring made with this recycled module is not attacked by microorganisms present in the soil, nor by chemicals and / or fertilizers used for the growth and care of the turf furthermore, by virtue of the material of which it is made, HDPE, the element is also resistant to temperature variations, especially the colder ones, to aggression by atmospheric agents and is stable to exposure to UV rays.

Installation of drive-over grass grating

The installation is simple and does not require skilled labor. The grassy grating is light and equipped with an interlocking system which, in addition to ensuring a quick and precise installation, partially compensates for the natural linear expansion of the element.

The grassy grating must be laid in horizontal lines from left to right, starting from top to bottom.

The hooks for the joint, present on two sides, must be turned to the right and downwards.

To obtain a better final result it is advisable:

• perfectly level the laying surface;

• provide perimeter expansion joints, spacing the installation of the elements from curbs, sidewalks, walls by a few centimeters;

• provide for central expansion joints, in the case of large surfaces, avoiding the coupling of one module with the next and leaving a space of about 3 cm every 10 linear m;

• square the surface about every 10 m2, always in the case of large surfaces to be covered
